Every Ranch Has a Story. This Is Ours.

Sometimes the best stories begin with a mistake, a challenge, or a moment that forces you to see things differently.

For Soul Shine Ranch, it started with a cow named T Bone.

Recently, Philomath News shared the story behind our ranch and how a difficult experience eventually became the inspiration for Soul Shine Ranch Premium Tallow Skincare. It's an incredible honor to have our journey featured, and we're grateful to Brad Fuqua for taking the time to tell our story.

Like many ranchers, Mike Tucker believed in using every part of the animal with respect. When it came time to process his very first beef, he decided to do it himself. The experience wasn't easy. Along the way he suffered a hernia, filled a freezer with beef, and found himself wondering what should happen to the tallow.

Instead of letting it go to waste, curiosity took over.

That curiosity turned into months of research, experimenting, and learning about one of nature's oldest skincare ingredients. Long before modern lotions filled store shelves, people relied on rendered tallow because it closely resembles the oils our own skin naturally produces. It was simple, nourishing, and effective.

That discovery became the foundation of Soul Shine Ranch.

Today, every jar we produce reflects the same philosophy that started on the ranch:

• Respect the animal.

• Waste as little as possible.

• Create products with purpose.

• Keep ingredients simple and honest.

We're proud that our products are handcrafted in Oregon using thoughtfully sourced ingredients and traditional methods. What began as an unexpected lesson has grown into a business centered around quality, stewardship, and caring for both people and the land.

The face on our logo isn't just artwork. It's T Bone, the animal whose story helped inspire an entirely new chapter for our family.

We're incredibly thankful for everyone who has supported Soul Shine Ranch from the beginning, and we're especially grateful to the Philomath News for sharing our story with the community.
